Jo Malone is launching the new Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne which arrives on the market in September 2014 accompanied with perfumed body care collection. The fragrance will be offered worldwide in the most important perfumeries as well as in duty free shops. Composition of the new fragrance, just like its name suggests, is composed of ambrette seed, sea salt and sage, along with red algae and grapefruit. ‘This fragrance is different for me’ – says Christine Nagel, perfumer of the composition. She adds: ‘Sea air is mixed with salty and mineral texture of sand and stones. As the scent of driftwood it has natural and fresh sophistication. A complex combination of wood and sea is in its essence. It provides the feeling of freedom and natural spirit.’ Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne was created with the intention to evoke the feeling of pleasure, freedom and escape into nature, inspired by the unique character and quality of British beach. With the aim to reflect the whole idea, photos of the advertising campaign were taken in Northumberland by the British fashion photographer Tim Walker. Assortment of the collection Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt includes flacons of 30 and 100ml Cologne, 250ml Body & Hand Wash, 175ml Body Crème and 200g Home Candle. Jo Malone presents new fragrance, English Pear and Freesia, which unites English landscapes and seasons which are connected with souls of the British. Inspiration for this fragrance were also verses by one of the last great romantic poets, John Keats (Ode to Autumn). Jo Malone's creative studio chose a perfumer for this collection. That is Christine Nagel known for numerous successful creations (Miss Dior Cherie, Narciso Rodriguez, Rose Absolue, Delices etc). The fragrance is ripe, juicy and thoroughly designed. Nuances of freesia and pear are very complex, since ripe pears were necessary to achieve a certain note to sound unique in composition of the fragrance. Pear in the moment of perfect ripeness has crispy structure of skin and juicy fruit. Pear is combined with quince which introduces honey sweetness and is surrounded with white freesia and wild climbing rose. A base of the composition is created of green, fresh and sour nuances of rhubarb along with warm and subtle aromas of patchouli, amber and white musk that stay in a trail.

Jo Malone has introduced a new fragrance Wild Bluebell at a presentation in London end of May 2011. According to a representative of the house of Jo Malone, the new fragrance starts renovation of the house. Advertising poster features a model instead of a flacon, which is unusual for media campaigns of Jo Malone, since we are used to seeing flacons surrounded with main ingredients of compositions. Creator of the perfume is Christine Nagel who presented a new version of bluebell, composed of various notes, including green fresh notes, flowers (lily of the valley, rose hip) and spicy chord of cloves. Bluebell is a wild forest flower and its scent provides a moist echo of summer forest. English bluebell is an endangered species, Jo Malone gave a donation to Woodland Trust. Genuine bluebell does not take part in the composition, but its recreation composed of various notes.
