The structure of the original LIBRE composition celebrates the signature tension present in all YSL fragrances: the tension between aromatic lavender from France and sensual orange blossom absolute from Morocco. The Eau de Toilette takes this to another level in this next chapter of the Libre story, with the duality between warmth and cold. The smouldering orange blossom is infused with a colder, androgynous white tea accord, revealing a modern and bright fragrance full of sensuality. The composition is made by master perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. The new fragrance is available as a 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette.

Libre Berry Crush by Yves Saint Laurent is a fruity floral flanker in the Libre line, emphasizing a blend of juicy raspberry with the composition’s established floral core. The fragrance opens with bright mandarin and tart raspberry, moving into a heart where lavender—described as Diva lavender—and Moroccan orange blossom stand at the center. In the base, vanilla bourbon and musk provide a soft, warm undertone, with coconut adding a creamy nuance. Positioned as a feminine scent, Libre Berry Crush focuses on the contrast between vivid fruit and aromatic florals. Available in 30ml, 50ml, and 90ml Eau de Parfum.

Yves Saint Laurent announces a new edition of the popular Black Opium collection to come out at the start of 2017, called Black Opium Floral Shock. The new edition Black Opium Floral Shock is announced as a fresher version with more floral and green aromas and the first one to possess the “iced coffee” accord. The new composition belongs to the family of fruity - florientals and "shocks" with its zesty lemon opening, white floral character in the heart with dominant gardenia, and iced coffee and white musk at the base of the perfume. The freshness of lemon, bergamot and pear in the top notes mixed with freesia is the first floral accord of the composition. The heart includes white flowers of golden gardenia, orange blossom and a solar floral accord. The base ends with iced coffee, white musk, mineral accord and woody amber. Perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc collaborated on the creation.
